PART 4
So did Rong actually walk Li to the path whereby he tinks he shud not continue to pursue...Rong set up his mind and brought her onto the grass patch...heart was broken thou....coz he noes that the ending for it...Rong told himself....i noe i will not be able to win Alex...Rong is a very determination guy...of coz he din relly give up but instead Rong decides to give himself some time to change himself...to be a better person.... After that Rong send her home...althou Li din noe that the 'game' was a very serious matter...but the answer was alredy out....sad and depressed...Rong return home .........This was almost consider last outing as Rong is entering the army in a weeks time....that is one of the reason...he led Li to the grass patch.....Being in the army will have not enough time .....Rong wants the girl he loves to be happy and be able to see each other often and spend time together..but army will not be able to make that happen.....Rong noes it well..it was juz a matter of time..giving himself 2 months to try chasing her...2 months is short..but wad Rong did...was equivilent to what a guy could do for 2 years..... From things that he did in the start... the daily escort to and fro home....the laughter and joy ...and the wonderful moments at the beach....the nick they gave each other.........the daily phone chats till unearthly hours?? Rong did alot of wonderful things to her....there was even times when Li was drunk...Rong accompanied her througout the whole nite till she awakes....even carried her back home b4 when she can't walk once...this was all sweet moments..but wad he did...was not enuff to fight Alex....Yes lookS does matters......From wad Rong knows....Alex was good in sweet talk ....but action wise it's not enough to win Rong thou...Nevertheless Rong tried his best...and did wadever he could... Each day..Rong will go drink out wif friends..start to smoke ciggys....it's not trying to act cool and look emotional by smoking and drinking..it does help Rong to resolve his sadness..... What Rong wants is juz a relationship that will last...and be happy wif her.....althou failure is part of life...this time..he has fail deeply....and wound which is hard to heal...Rong decides to give it a last shot...to...ask THE REAL QUestion "Li, From the day i met u at the pub , i was alredy deeply attracted to you...all this while i have been trying my best to win ur heart....althou i may not be that good in sweet talking...but my heart for u will never change...will i ever have a chance to be ur prince one day..and accompany u through all the up and down periods u may have....?" This message was send while Rong was in a pub.......After drinking so much..he finally decides to send this message..it was created for more then a month alredy..it was kept in his draft message...Rong juz dun have the courage to ask it....everytime Li took Rong's HP...Rong was sweating nervously...coz he forgot to save it into a more private area ...he was so afraid she would read it.... 5 mins pass...no reply....10 mins....still no reply.....Rong noes it...no replies means..gone....it's over....the word...rejection..floating in his mind.....an hour pass.....no replies still..it's over..Rong finish the last drink and ciggy..and went to the place where they first met...alone....Rong look at the stars and told the sky...."This is the place where we first met...and will be the place where it end...The person that shud be standing beside me shud be Li....but she's not here...which means...i`ve failed and lost the battle... Memories of Li and him started to flash in his mind...the smiles on her face...the fun times they got together...the things they played at the beach..running around catching each other....all the romantic times...at the jetty and pubs....tears went uncontrolled and flow down to his cheeks...each tears filled wif sadness..and despair...For so long Rong din weeped b4....she was the girl that he relly treasures.... And few days later as Rong was about to enter the army.....Li called Rong..."Rong , hows life....been going on fine..? ...somehow..it was not a call to give ROng a chance....Rong noes she had saw the message he send to her tat day..she was juz faking ignorance......why is it so..? Coz...Li then later told Rong..that she and Alex...became couple already..This moment..Rong finally got to noe the answer....Rong then weep another tears of lost love.....the feeling where u lost to another guy.....tat tear contains all the determination which Rong would have....." Rong din wanna Li to saw that...he wanna proves his strongness..enough..althou he replied..."oh isit..haha congratz.......the tone was when u cry...the low tone voice.....Li should have hear it..but somehow....din relly asked why..It was so hard to continue the conversation..after hearing the news....so Rong told her..." This was the first time..FIRST time.....Rong first telling Li to put down the phone as he got things to do..it was never so in the past....coz Rong valued the every seconds which is spend wif her.... Li said..."ok..." that ok was last line Rong ever heard from her.....as Rong enters the army...he look at his phone..."scrolling though all the message Li once send him....and slowly deletes them away..one by one...each which was once a memory to him...Rong broswe through the messages which he prepare long ago to send her...but it can never be sent again... "There are 365 days a year.....8760 hours in it.....525600 minutes ....and 31536000 seconds......i WIsh i Could juZ spend every second with u...putting a smile on ur face each time...and willing to finish 31536000 times eternity with you....." SAdly he could not send this anymore... Now in Rong's life...this setback gave him lots of determination...he told himself...2 years in NS....and i will prove to Li...i will be better then Alex....Rong took up guitar lessons juz to finish the song Li likes....he wanna finish this all by himself...and meet Li on her 21th birthday which is about the time where Rong finish NS.....He would then play her favourite song to her at the first place they met...and not the old ROng she noes......If you were to choose the path one day....Will u bring ur love one to the end ...or bring her off the path?.. knowing that what are the consequences..... About an hour later Li finally calls Rong....Rong was very curious who could be the person that dial Li number....so he keep putting hints in his words to ask WHo tat Guy IS.....Li SomeHOW HId ThingS up ..anD kEep Turning Things round saying it's his fren.....Rong could not ask who it is...but still remain silence and curious... Days passed yet again...Li have changed into another person...no longer always sms Rong....Rong knew something is wrong..and decides to pay a visit to her working place....Rong went there alone boldly....and reaching there he saw the same guy which ROng always see Li toking to previously in her working place....It's Alex after introduction was done.. Taking first look at Alex...Rong din felt anything amiss and only feels they are frens... Rong was sitting alone in one place while Alex was wif his frens at another area...The amount of time Li spend wif Rong in the pub is soo much lesser then Alex....Rong was jealous...and feels sad....Rong started to feel that Li is attracted to him....After work Rong offered to send Li home...Li hestitate abit and saes ok...Rong was so delighted that Li would actually sit his car instead of Alex's.... Hours passed and Li got off from work....Rong waited downstairs for Li to enter his car...and Rong ask Li...wanna go beach and chill abit?...Li din turn him down and went with Rong.....Sitting down at the sandy beach....with the light ocean waves hitting the shores... Rong and Li chatted happily at the beach....then suddenly Li talk to Rong about Alex...saying that he is a very humourous and fun guy and started toking about him and his friends and the jokes he always crack...Rong listen closefully and althou he was jealous and sad..but he got to keep it cool and not sound it off....It was late then and Rong send Li back home... Questions started to float in Rong's mind...does Li like that guy? Finally it came to a wednesday and it was Li's off day...Rong had alredy planned wif LI that this coming off day...Rong wanna date Li out to clubbing...Li told Rong...."i see first ok ? i confirm wif u again..." Yes and sadly the day when Li is off....Rong din manage to date her out....and Rong ask her..where are u going todae....Li replied.."oh wif my frens, BUt maybe going clubbing"....Feeling rejected and sad....Rong had no other options.... It was until late 10pm + whereby Rong ask whether is Li going to club tonight...Li replied yes and Rong immedialtey decides to go along...Rong had been all outside alone till this golden time 10 pm ..just to wait for Li to goes clubbing and meet her there....Rong was so excited...and decides to meet Li there in the club....Rong reached there an hour earlier and happily awaits Li to appear....Yes she did appear..and this time wif a guy... The guy came closer...and it was..Alex......Rong noes he lost..totally....Alex was charming and well build and rich....Rong noes it is over....Alex actually dated her todae to an outing...Rong was then further introduced to Alex ......Rong had a few buddy together going to this club and after Li decides to go meet Alex's fren ....Rong told his buddy..."i...have lost....!" Rong was totally break down....he noes it over....loving a girl and liking her so much all came to an end...And of course Li never return to meet Rong and his frens whereby Li only stick wif Alex's Fren.....Rong was totally depressed....drinking to his max..and vomitted ...he juz wanna brain wash himself.... The day passed and Rong din have the guts anymore to message Li to send her to work..but to keep to himself at home ...Rong told himself....Am i totally lost?? Would i lose to him?? Rong had never fail chasing 2 of his ex girlfrens..and he wun wan to fail..his determination is strong..and he decides to carry on fighting the battle and not give up.... Rong visited her working place again....this time Rong made excuse saying coming here with his frens to chill...not to sae Alex was there....This time Rong actually brought Gwen down....and was hoping..with Gwen around....Li will come and accompany them more..but not as much as wad Rong expected....Li still went to Alex's side more....Rong was determined to fight...and ask Gwen to help.....By asking Li to go chill after she knock off from work....Li agreed....but it was not agreed for the sake tat Rong is bringing them out..but is cause Gwen was there....... Rong told Gwen everything that he did and he was chasing Li...Gwen noes everything very well and dun like Alex too..Cause Alex seems like a playboy...and Gwen and Rong are very good frens...they share secrets and help out each other...Gwen helped Rong to questioned Li at the CHill out place...Li..." u like Alex isit?" Li told Gwen...."No lah how can it be , his juz a fren and very sociable one" Gwen could not ask more but to ask other questions..." Then how u find Rong..? "Li was supicious and ask Gwen why?? Gwen saes no lah juz asking curious mah....Li replied " ok lo not bad guy...and started to ask if Rong had chances or not...."Li told her maybe ...." and Gwen started asking more others questions..... After these....when all went back home....Rong questioned Gwen and ask her.....Gwen saes..overall impression not bad lah..and he saes Alex and her is not possible one.......Rong was happy and relieve....and Gwen encourage Rong to work harder as Li had juz break off wif her boyfren and could not get over it so fast..so Rong have to slowly wait... But the main thing is..Rong is entering the army....in few months time...about 1 month + and time is running out..if he enters the army..chances and time of seeing Li will be super little and things will get harder....he needs to win her heart b4 he enters army...Rong was very selfish not to tell Li that he is entering army..Yes he is selfish..but reason was he loves Li so much ...that he dares not tell her...But tink back Rong only noes Li for less then a month..going steady is stupid as time is so short....Rong noes that well and noe chances are low...but he always remmeber this..always try while u can...dun wait till one day and and u will regret...weeping in future will not turn things around..life's only once....and it's short..cherish wadveer things around u and never give it up....Next time in future ...at least when u look back..u will noe at least that u have tried..and wun feel bad and sad.... It was finally another off day for Li..and Rong decides to ask Li out agian....This time it was succeed..and Rong was so happy....Rong once remmebered during an outing wif Li.....at a shopping centre and Li was looking at this beautiful pendant..that she likes a lot..it was a butterfly pendant...Rong remmebers every single words she saes...and during that day when he dates Li out...Rong went all the way to the place...and shop for tat item...It was sold out at the particular shop....Rong din give up and try all the shops..driving around...juz to get the pendant similiar one for Li...WHich he was meeting her todae..for a date....Rong spend the whole afternoon searching..and God was on his side..he found it at a shop...it costs more then wad he first expected..but he din care and was willing to spend anything for the sake of Li..Yes the power of love....is giving everything and never feel pain.... Rong date Li to a live band KtV ....Upon reaching there...Rong told Li..."close ur eyes" i have something for u...Li did so...and on the count of 3...Rong passed a box into Li's hand.....Open it up Li........ Li curiously open it up..and to her surprise she saw the pendant she liked in the box....She was very happy and thanks Rong....Rong told her..."As long as u like...it will make my day =)" and Rong din relly tell Li that how much effort he does..to get the pendant....althou Li questioned....but Rong kept it to himself and decides not to boast about it...as wad matters is the heart...not the effort behind it.....as long as wad Li likes...even the moon..Rong will tries his best to get it.... At the Ktv...Rong dedicated her favourite song to her....saying "Stay happy always on the dedication paper..." Li was shocked to hear her name announced by the Live band....and was very happy and thanked Li...Time flies and it was a happy day for Rong..as he noes Li will truly enjoyed herself......and after todae..Rong thought his chances..are slightly higher then Alex now.....but he was wrong.... Things din relly appear that wonderful as usualy things are back..whereby Alex would everyday open bottle at her working place....Alex was a strong competitor too....God gave him charm , looks and money i guess..whereby he could open a bottle of liquor at the pub...and Li could earn commission throught each day from it....Rong was juz a student previously and entering army soon..so he was not tat rich...although he always tell himself..money could not buy everything in this world...but the fact is ...money can relly make someone happier ....no one could deny that..it's a fact in this world... One of the night Rong went back to the pub and decides to send Li home...Li agrees....and Rong brought her to a jetty ...they chatted and Rong pop out wif this question ....." how u find Alex....?" Li's reply was...ok lo not bad guy very humourous.....and Rong ask Li in a jokingly sound..." haha then he never try to chase u meh.....i tink he interested in u..." Li paused for a moment..." actually got lah..but was like few weeks back when i noe him a few days only ....Alex told me he wan to chase me.....but i`am not ready for a relationship...." Rong was kinda sad hearing that....that Li somehow was attracted to him alot....Rong changes topic not to add suspicion....upon walking back ...Rong told Li...see this path towards the main road...." Do u trust me?" Let us both walk with eyes closed to the end of this road and not wavied out into the grass patched....we can do it...." u muz trust me...." Li agreeds and when she closes her eyes off...Rong went out to grab her hands....." ok ready?" Li said "ok" ....and off they go...This was the most memorable moment in Rong's life..holding the person whom he likes..and walking towards a path which he would never wanted it to end.....Upon walking..Rong remain silence....and Rong cheated by opening his eyes a few times...he wanna look at Li's face....and to decide whether to give it up or not....cause he noes..Li will never like him ....she juz treats him as a normal fren....tears dripped off his face..while Li's eyes were still closed....they walk and walk...while Rong was leading the way....still looking into Li's eyes......."to give up or not?" For the first month , most off days Li will accompany Rong out always...but it's until 2nd month onwards..things started to change...one night while Li was working...Rong was sleeping till 2am plus and sets his alarm to wake up at 2:30am juz to go to her work place and fetch her home..No matter how tired Rong is...he never whine or so....He sms Li putting excuses that he was around her working area and about time to go home and wanted to give her a ridehome....Rong was so shocked to see the reply...she said "is ok , dun nid to trouble u , my friend will drive me home thanks =)" ....It had never happened this way , for past month..Rong would never miss the opportunity to send her back .. Rong was very sad and many thingskeep running thru his head.... Rong is a very sensitive guy....very minor stuffs he will be thinking lots and lots..he started to tink back whether wad have he done wrong...Could it be that Rong said somethingwrong..? Could it be Li have found a better guy then him? Could it be juz pure frienddriving her home..? Could the person driving her home be a lady? Her god brother..? So manythings flashes through his mind and ROng was almost going mad tinking of all these...Rong relly likes her alot and decides to do something ...althou he noes it is a wrong thingbut he relly cares about her and worried about her..what happen if Li is drunk and someguy wanna give her a ride home...and possibly take advantage of her?? who could be the person fetchin her home...? Rong noes Li's mum will be very furious seeing that she is drunk and ROng deicides to call up one of his buddy to wake his buddy up and follow Rong down secretly and sort of spying...Rong feels very very bad thoughout the journey as he noes this is a situation where u dun trust someone...but this is not about trust , he keeps chanting to himself....it was meant good for her as ROng relly cares about her and dun wish anything to happen to her.. Rong could not ask Li further more who the person is or wad soever...cause the reason is simple....he dun wan to let Li noe that he is chasing her ...cause usually girls might reject him at such early stages where they dun even noe each other thatwell...they juz noe each other for less then 2 months.....No choice but Rong managed to wake up his sleeping buddy which have to report to work early8am next day....feeling bad but Rong said to his buddy..BUddy i am relly sorry , i got no choice but to approach u ...all my frens have fallen deep asleep and i am running out of time as 30 more mins..she gonna finish work soon .... Rong have to be there b4 she leaves tomsee who is the person who fetch her home....Luckily Rong's buddy helped him and followed him down to her work place...Rong was so touched that his buddy could helped him...and i relly mean touched at his bottom of his heart...he was never wronged to have sucha fren...As they reached her work place , it was 2:55am..Rong sped through the whole journey.hopingthat he will not be late ....it was so dangerous that he almost had an accident...many pplewill wonder wad's in his mind...when a guy is crazy bout a girl he likes..he is willing todo any sacrificial...tat goes for Rong....Upon reaching there Rong hid himself pretty wellopposite Li's working pub while his buddy which Li never seen b4...was standing in front ofthe pub waiting for Li to come down ....Rong and his buddy were contacted through phone throughout...waiting for LI to come down and describe who is the person who is sending Li home....10 mins passed...nothing much had happen and they both were waiting to no avail.... Rong started to tink even more....COuld she have left the place alredy ? Could she be working OT.. which seldom happens as Li everytime will leave the place at most 15 mins later...so Rong patiently waited for he arrival.....30 mins passed this time..still no avail where she isher colleagues have almost all left....Rong started to worried even more..and thought of asking his buddy to go up and find her....but this is stupid as his buddy have never seenLi b4..and if he does go up and ask if Li is in there...the boss will definately tell Li the next day..and this way Li will noe ROng dun trust her and invade her privacy space...this is real bad.....Rong had no choice but to await patiently .... Soon an hour have passed..Rong decides to give it up....as he noes it's pointless waiting as she would have long wenthome alredy...so rong sadly left the place and politely thanked his buddy for makingthe effort to come..upon driving back home ...things flash and flash through Rong's head...it's worst then any torture in his life....missing the person so badly...and tinking who could be the person tat send her home..and wad would happen to her..is she safe and sound?Reaching home , Rong could not sleep but to keep wondering and wondering .....until...he decides...to drop Li a message...."hey Li , have you reached home alredy :)" To his surprise Li replied saying yes she reached....this moment then rong felt a sense of relief..it was juz a short replied saying yes i reached.....Rong duno wad to reply after that but to keptstaring at his ceiling lying on his bed....it seems like Li turn into another person....not the usual one ROng noes....tinking of Li too much and can't sleep without hearing her voice..Rong decides to dial her number......Li picked up telling Rong that she is on the phone and will call him back later...No choice but sadly to hang up.... pARt 3 Coming UP soon pOkE heRe @ 1:31 AM
